The GL.control system is set-up on two computing units. The user software is strictly separated from the NC software. This ensures its real-time capabilities and offers a comfortable control in the well-known windows environment. With GL.control you have the possibility to control all sub systems of the machine and coordinate them. The operator of the machine can program all of the tasks in one single user interface. This approach supports the intuitive operation of the GL.3/5 thus decreasing the set up time and resulting in a saving in processing time.

GL.status:

The status module shows you the current status of the machine. The current axes positions and the condition of the laser are displaned here. To gain an overview of the most important information of the machine a reduced form of the GL.status window is shown in every GL module.

GL.nc:

With the NC-module you are able to edit G-Code programs or to import those from CAD-CAM-systems. Particular properties of the module are: • highlighting of G-code commands and operands • tab program windows enable you to open multiple windows • splitting the program window • laser control by G-code commands • call machining programs from the GL.designer • call laser parameter sets from the library
|

GL.designer2D:

In this graphical user interface you have the possibility to create 2Dgeometries quickly and easily. The preferences of this module are: • generation of 2D geometries (line, rectangle, circle, ellipse, spiral) • geometrical operations (hatching, repetition, mirroring, offset, duplication) • exhibition of the created geometries in the display window • insertion of user defined scan fields in the machining area • combination of axis and scanner machining within the same operation • allocation of individual parameters to each geometry • import of svg- and dxf-files • import of bitmaps (black-white) • marking
|

GL.designer3D (optional):

This module enables you to generate 3D structures on a workpiece. • import of stl- and voxel-files • 3D exhibition of imported files in the display window • choice of axis or scanner machining • combination of axis and scanner machining within one operation • assignment of individual parameter sets to each geometry • adjustment of the hatch characteristics • adjustment of the ablation layer thickness • scaling the imported 3D-model • high performance computing in a computer cluster |
